Murano Business Hotel

For the price it's 100% value for money.

The location was in back streets, it was hidden away from main Street facilities.

It's within 15 min by taxi from the Centro de Eventos do Ceará, which is a plus. There is a restaurant just around the corner. Staff is very nice and helpful. Wide doors in the ground floor rooms and bathrooms allow wheelchair accessibility.

There are "favelas" (slums) close to the hotel, that make it unsafe to walk around the neighborhood. If you are going to, leave your valuables in the room. Breakfast is simple, and not particularly good.

I chose this hotel in Fortaleza as I wanted to spend my last day in Brazil by the pool. Unfortunately once I got there I realised that the pool was a disgusting dirty mess. When I complained they said the filter or pump was broken. But it's only three quarters full of water and full of leaves and dirt so it looks like it has been broken for weeks, if not months. when I complained that they should inform anyone who books to let them know about the pool, they said that there was a sign on the front desk to inform them. Drrrrrr....once you have already arrived at the hotel and they have already taken the money from your credit card it's a bit too late to cancel and find an alternative hotel!!!!!! Had I have know beforehand I would have found an alternative hotel. The mattress on my bed was the thinnest mattress I have ever slept on in my life. It was so uncomfortable I had a terrible nights sleep. So I don't really have many good things to say really. The staff are nice and the breakfast had a lot of fresh fruit on offer, although in a very soul-less room, that didn't have wifi. In fact the wifi only works in reception, which would probably be fine if it didn't call itself a business hotel, but because it was a so called business hotel I thought it would have wifi in at least the breakfast area.

Very clean rooms and good variety for breakfast. Location is good.
